Painting travel inspiration Venice Alley at Ramo Va in Campo by Ines Miller.
Art home decor.
The process, doubts, and persistence to keep moving forward to create the Venice painting.
"The challenges present themselves in many forms and shapes. This painting was fun to create but took me the longest to complete. The street textures and the broken stucco on the walls were prominent features I wanted to preserve, and as time was place into the canvas the painting adopted its own essence. The memories were triggered to my trip to Venice as my reference image was my own photo.
During this painting creation a wise artist once told me, “Don’t rush it; some paintings need more time to be born.” … I am glad I listened.
After three months of work, I'm happy that I let it rest when needed. I happyidly present my piece, 'The Alley at Ramp Va in Campo Venice, Italy.' It had a fast start, being featured at the Merc Gallery in Temecula, California, in June 2024."
