BORED LLAMAS no energy to create (From graphite pencil to outline silhouette to digital creation).

 Driving yourself to create something by inspiration may seem a simple task but to continuing creating every day is a self-discipline that needs to be acquired. Every day  is a new day and a new opportunity to try something new, to explore and experiment on those giving talents and learned skills you are honing, and while you dare … have fun in the process.

 This video will walk you through my experience in not feeling the creative bug nor energy to work on my multiple pending projects laying on my art studio; the solution: To grabs my sketchbook and force myself to do few llama sketches on pencil and then outlined with micron pen ink, finally to scanned them and play with the outlined sketches digitally in photoshop. Hope you like the results.

On this real time  video I am walking you through the process  I do to prepare two of my mini paintings to be displayed in an art boutique. Varnish and installing d-rings in the back of the  paintings is part of the requirement from the art gallery.

D-rings are often required to accept your painting in an art gallery or gift boutique,  They remain flat toward the wall, and they are also stronger than any “hook loop” styles in the market.

You can buy your d-rings and wire on your local hardware store or online.

My inspirations behind this whimsical painting of a pink pig swimming came from The natural place in The Bahamas, an inhabited Island  known as the ‘Official Home of the Swimming Pigs’ where feral pigs enjoy their every day swimming session. 

Tourists to this beautiful islands with turquoise waters are happily embracing the unique and special experience of swimming with the pigs on the uninhabited island of Big Major Cay, this place which is home to these special creatures and affectionately called through the times now and known as “Pig Beach”.
